The application period for the 2025 Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Outstanding Achievement Awards will begin on April 2, 2025, and end on April 14, 2025.
The YÖK Outstanding Achievement Awards will be presented in eleven categories under three main headings: Individual, Institutional, and Special Fields.
Under the Individual Awards category, the Doctoral Dissertation of the Year Award will be granted in four distinct fields:
Natural and Engineering Sciences
Fine Arts and Architecture
Health and Sports Sciences
Social and Human Sciences
Applications for these awards must be submitted jointly by the doctoral candidate and their thesis advisor, and only for dissertations completed within the previous year. These awards aim to highlight the significance of collaborative success between students and their supervisors.
